WHAT IS IT?
Botulinum Toxin (commonly known as BOTOX) is a toxin that is used cosmetically to relax muscles in order to remove fine lines and wrinkles as well as correct and alter different areas of the face and the body.
HOW IS IT ADMINISTERED?
Botox is injected into the area that is being treated with a fine needle which causes little discomfort. Results are generally seen at 10 days to 2 weeks. A review is generally carried out at that stage to certain whether further injections are needed to achieve the desired result.
